AS A CONSCIOUS FOOD DESTINATION.

WE PARTNERED UP WITH TWO STARTUPS, KITRO & BEELONG WHO MEASURED THE RESTAURANTS’ FOOD WASTE AND HELPED THEM WITH RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.
IN ORDER TO MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE FOR THE RESTAURATEURS WE MANAGED TO GET SUPPORT FROM THE COMMUNE DE BAGNES (LOCAL AUTHORITY). THE STUDY WAS SUPPOSED TO RUN FOR 6 MONTHS BUT RAN FOR 3 BEFORE COVID19 HAPPENED. THE LAST MONTHS OF MEASURING TOOK PLACE IN SPRING AND SUMMER 2021.
THE NEXT STEPS OF THE MOVEMENT ARE NOW BEING DEFINED TOGETHER WITH THE MAIN LOCAL ACTORS.
TO ENGAGE THE PUBLIC, AND PUT LIGHT ON THE BEAUTIFUL PRODUCT OUR REGION HAS TO OFFER, THE CULINARY JOURNEY, TERRE HAUTE WAS ORGANISED IN SEPTEMBER 2020 AND SEPTEMBER 2021.
